Foltene thinning hair shampoo and conditioner review

I have been prescribed this shampoo and conditioner by my dermatologist.
I was suffering by severe hair fall few months back then I went to the dermatologist . She prescribed me this shampoo and conditioner along with HairFollic tables review is here.

What it claims?

This formula without Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES) assures an extra-delicate cleansing action, preserving the health of the hair without altering the scalp's natural protective film. Also, its carefully designed formula, does not contain parabens, mineral oil, silicons and paraffin wax.

Contains Main Actives:

Tricalgoxyl - Foltene Pharma's patented active ingredient, which enhances hair growth, strengthens thin and weak hair and restores the natural balance of the scalp.

Panax Ginseng Extract: Provides energy to the hair, giving it body and shine. Boosts thickness and volume of hair damaged due to stress, incorrect diet, childbirth, breast feeding, nutritional deficiency, pregnancy, hair colourants etc.

My Experience with shampoo

The cost of this shampoo is 1200 rupees for 200 ml

I dilute this shampoo in some water and wash it so that it evenly distribute in my long hair.

Since it is free from SLES I thought it will foam less but it does foam a lot like a normal detergent shampoo. It has subtle smell which does not bother.
I don't know if it helped with my hair fall but along with Wellwomen hairfollic tables and shampoo, it surely decreased my hair fall. I don't know which product worked. 90% I feel its tablets.
This shampoo also removes oil very nicely.

Cons I would say, It makes my hair super dry and I would not expect SLES free shampoo should do this.

I had already purchased 2 bottles of this and after finishing I am not going to repurchase it.

 My experience with conditioner

The cost of this conditioner is 1200 rupees for 150 ml

I apply it after washing my hair for a minute or two then wash it off.
It does not help with frizz. It does nothing at all I feel.
It does contain paraben which a big NO for me.

I will not buy this again.

Wellwoman Hairfollic tablets review for hairfall..My experience..

I was suffering from too much hair fall all of a sudden. Dermatologist recommended full body checkup to diagnose the root cause.

Then it was reported that vitamin b12 was in range but on lower side and vitamin d3 was low.
He prescribed me vitamin b12 and vitamin d3 along with calcium tablets. I took these but there was no effect on my hair fall.

It was a severe hairfall and nothing was working So I decided to switch to other doctor.

Then I went to Dr. Rinky Kapoor most famous doctor on internet. She prescribed me "Wellwomen Hairfollic tablets" twice daily for 2 months.

I could see a difference in a week. It has drastically controlled my hair fall in a month. Still taking the tablets one in morning and one at night after dinner.

I am very happy with the results and I recommend to the people who are facing too much hair fall like me.

These tablets are multivitamin tablets with amino acids + biotin + selenium + zinc + collagen.
These tablets are safe as they are multivitamin So anything that exceeds gets excreted through urine.
So I would recommend to give it a try.

KAMA Ayurveda Mridul review - A Face Cleanser Or A Scrub

This is good for sensitive skin. But it is suppose to be used as face cleanser but this is good as scrub.
as it is too harsh as cleanser.

Sensitive people like me cannot use it as a cleanser as it will be too harsh but they can use it as a scrub as once or twice in a week.

My experience:

I take half a spoon in a saucer then add little water in it then apply the paste it. After waiting till it semi dries, I wash it off by rubbing it lightly on my face. After wash it I can see a glow on my face which does not remain till longer time but as a scrub it works well.
Also It has herbal smell not too strong I like it when I apply it on my face.

Pros:
1. Very nice herbal smell
2. Gives glow to the face
3. 100% a natural product
4. Does very nice job as a scrub
5. Stainless steel bottle is very cute and spatula is also nice

Con:
1. Too messy to create a paste
2. Harsh as a cleanser for sensitive faces
3. Too expensive for the amount given
4. Can be purchased online or from their outlet
5. The granular parts in the mixture hurts if rubbed.

I will definitely recommend to try this as a scrub.

Review of Shalimar Organic saffron Kashmir Certified Grade A1 Mogra Kesar

I had searched a lot before buying the saffron online about genuineness of the originality.

Then I came to know that there are few ways through which I can check the same.

Before buying there are few things that we can check about the brand

1. It should be ISO3632 certified

2. It should be organic

3. It should be MOGRA Saffron and not the yellow one

After buying we can check again for the genuineness like below

1. Check the color of water after soaking. Color of the water should be golden and not red
2. It should not leave its color immediately after putting into water
3. After soaking for whole night, the threads should not loose its color, they should be red i.e. their original color.
4. While rubbing the threads on hand after soaking, they should not break


Before buying i checked all the above parameters and Since Shalimar Organic Saffron was satisfying the same I purchased the same. And one thing caught my attention was that On Amazon site it was mentioned that It can be safely consumed by pregnant women So I thought this should be very safe for me.

After buying Again I tried to test the genuineness with the above mentioned steps

I soak the saffron threads overnight in water and observed the below.

1. Check the color of water after soaking. Color of the water should be golden and not red

>> Shalimar - Yes it is golden in color

2. It should not leave its color immediately after putting into water

>> Shalimar - It does not leave its color immediately

3. After soaking for whole night, the threads should not loose its color, they should be red i.e. their original color.

>> Shalimar - Shalimar does not satisfy this one. Some threads become yellow in the morning as shown in the picture. I think it has mixture of fake threads and original threads of saffron.
One is yellow and the other one is red.Yellow one's texture is different from the red ones. Sometimes it becomes white also.

4. While rubbing the threads on hand after soaking, they should not break

>> Shalimar - While rubbing it does not break


Final Verdict:

I am still skeptical about the product. I think it has fake threads mixed with original ones. Fake threads ratio is less than the original ones

Will I buy it again?

No. I will try some other brand product.

Neem Oil a boon for acne prone skin

Neem Oil is good for all purpose especially on skin and hair.

Since I knew my skin has acne because of bacteria and Neem can kill all those bacteria's.

But I was skeptical about putting oil on my face as I already have oily skin but to my wonder after daily using for a month I could see drastic improvement on my skin.

Acne starting clearing to a certain extent.

It does not control new breakouts but subsidizes the existing eruption and to a certain extent controls small boils.

I have used Kama Ayurveda Neem Oil 200 ml of 895 Rs but It can be used for more than a year if using in small quantity.

Acne skinned beauties should try this. If you have tried all sought of things to clear it then you can definitely give a try to natural product which does not have any side effect.

I have tried many things on my skin and regret for doing so. Because it made it more oily. Whoever reading this , Please make a not that don't put too much chemicals and don't was your face too often.
Try this simple remedy and comment below after trying the same.

Best Pumpkin seeds brand India 2017

We all know the benefits of having pumpkin seeds i.e. it has Omega 3 fatty acids, full of anti-oxidants and many more.
But as we decide to start having it , we tend to get confused as to which brand should we pick.

My journey towards Pumpkin Seeds.................

I was so excited to include it in my diet so I searched online and picked a random one which had fancy packaging and VOILA!!!!! to my despair the taste was like yuck as if i am having kerosene instilled seeds .I had bought it from Big Bazaar. I thought it has many health benefits but compromising with the taste was little difficult. Now the impression was like all seeds taste the same.

Then One fine day I encountered some @ Big Basket Then I ordered a different brand to give it try but again my attempt went into vein. The same story goes on and on I have tried True Elements , Godrej Natures basket pumpkin seeds , By Natures, RAW Essentials.

The one thing I learnt was the pumpkins gets stale n fewer days that is why some of the vendors must be putting some kind of oil to preserve it and that tastes weird.

The one that felt edible was BY NATURE'S pumpkin seeds. This one I can eat anytime. But the only con is it is costly. 50 g for 179 Rs. It is worthy when you'll compare it with other brands.
It feels fresh and can be stored for 2-3 weeks and the packet is zipped lock form so is easy to carry.

I found a far better brand than By Nature.

Its NOURISH YOU pumpkin seeds better than all it can be kept for many days in fridge or without fridge it feels fresh always.

By far, this one wins the race. Try and let me know.

Bye Bye Oily Skin !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since 4 to 5 yrs I was having oily sensitive skin and tried almost everything (except accutane as I am very well aware of the side effects which I don't want to compromise and to other females I would recommend not to go for Accutane).

Now directly to the point, I have been using Candid dusting powder on my face and since then I have no oiliness issue on my face. Since my skin is sensitive so cream or gel have never worked for me .But till now this have worked.

I apply it at night on my entire face and in the morning I apply it before applying compact powder.

It has worked on my face without any issues. I don't get oily for the entire day.

Also It have cleared my skin color boils on my forehead to some extent.I am not a dermatologist but just sharing my experience. I think anybody can give it a try and share you  experience.

If I am doing something wrong then feel free to comment.

After this I am going to try AbZord powder. Will keep updating my experience.
